BunnyKins Childcare - Ofsted Awarded Outstanding!

Service Offered

BunnyKins Childcare believes that its contracted parents' and their child's personal needs are of the utmost importance and is committed to meeting these requirements. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from referrals from my existing and past contracts

A high quality childcare service is offered to parents within a loving family environment, for any ability child.  We follow a fun monthly activities curriculum, which covers all aspects of education and development, as regulated by the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted; covering such topics as 'Fairy Tales & Nursery Rhymes' and 'Growing' and many more........ but above all the teaching is given through play and in accordance with a child's age and/or understanding ability.
Although I follow an annual curriculum, a medium and short-term plan, respect is given to a child's choice of play. In order for the children to express themselves freely, socialise and gain independence, different toys, books and creative activities are available for them to access at all times.
We are certainly a '5-a-day' childcare provision, as all the meals provided are freshly prepared and nutritious. NAS diluting juice is only given during meal times and water is freely available for the rest of the day. Crisps and sweets are never offered as a snack, only fruit.  Sweets would only be given as a prize for gaining a star on the Reward Chart, with prior permission from the parents.
BunnyKins Childcare is situated in a small, quiet Close with a private play park and there is also a well equipped, safe garden to access. Within the garden is a sandpit, water trough, small trampoline, ride-on toys and a climbing frame.  The children are also given decorating brushes to use with water to make their marks on the patio. The children are encouraged to actively care for the garden plants and we perform sowing of seeds for vegetables each year.
Part of our daily routine, is to access the outdoor environment for at least an hour each day; whether it be in a local play park, feeding ducks, stroking horses or rambling in the woods...... and in all weathers....... so also jumping in muddy puddles!!
I am married, have 2 Children of 19 and 21 this year; 2 cats who we hardly see and a little Scottie dog. I am located very close to local bus routes 229, 469 and 99 and am within walking distance of Erith and Belvedere train stations.
